Dang! No body is talking about 25% off! Am I the only one taking this halfway seriously?
Well, I will say that I had a Slim Fast for breakfast.
So What?! Big *#/*! deal, huh?

Donna, Keep going with your slim fast. Be a good role model for these wishy-washy others. They'll fall in line. It will be easier for Carmen to diet when she gets back home from her trip. It's hard to travel and count calories too. I know she is wanting to lose weight real bad. She'll soon be on this site giving you frequent updates.
I can't imagine that you are fat. The last time I saw you you looked trim and pretty.
How often do you weigh? Let me know your progress. If you lost just two pounds a week ... That would be good, wouldn't it?
Hey! I gave ya'll my spiel about what I'm doing to try to lose weight. I just don't know which original post I put it under. I'm new to this blogging thing, you know.
Sunday I consumed a few too many calories, so Monday I was trying to get back on track. For lunch I had a can of tuna and an avocado on a salad (a south beach thing). The avocado helps tone down the strong flavor of the tuna. Breakfast was oatmeal (trying to reduce the cholesterol). For dinner, I had hamburger steak with pinto beans and mashed potatoes (not working on the cholesterol)....and definitely not diet food, but I ate smaller portions. Dinner is more difficult, trying to accommodate the family; and Ken was cooking last night, so who was I to argue. Ken will be working late the next three nights, so it will be easier to eat lighter in the evenings.
Exercise is not happening yet...
I'm back home and recuperating from the trip. However, tomorrow I'm going to walk over the the Y. Well, now that I've told ya'll, I'm sure I'll get around to walking over there. . . . And who knows, I may even join!
As for dieting, I can cut back a little, but I don't have much will power. I've always had better success with exercising than dieting.
