so..... I fell off the wagon. and I think I got run over by one of the wheels. At least, I did not gain any wait over Christmas. But, believe me when I say it takes alot of food to maintain my fat butt right now.
I am currently in negotiations with my doctor for diet pills. He told me I needed to lower my cholesterol. Also, he said I needed to lower the fat in my diet and exercise more. I said, if I could do all that, what the hell do I need diet pills for! Anyway, I'm calling him tomorrow with a new ploy.

I've tried some diet pills . . . they didn't work for me. I started hearing things that weren't really there. However, a girlfriend has lost about 50 pounds taking the same pill. Hope it works for you, Donna.

So did you get that doctor straightened out?

I'm trying to talk myself into an exercise program. It is the new year and I feel compelled to make resolutions. Get my life organized, exercise, eat right, etc.
I'm thinking about starting a 12 week program on Monday. They say it takes 12 weeks to develop a habit. I guess I'll give up some of these habits I like for some that are good for me.

Anyone else have plans for a new and improved you?

Halleluah!!! Guess What?!
I got the diet pills. I started them yesterday. So, basically I have no appetite. So far so good. Tony, of course, wants to still eat. But, since I have no appetite, I forget about cooking. Hey, now, Baby Huey could stand to lose a few himself. Don't go feeling sorry for your brother. I can hear the "poor baby" groans now. STOP!
Oh, and Carmen, don't be bringing me down with all the hype about how diet pills are bad for you. So is high blood pressure and high cholesterol. I intend to lose enough weight to not have the 2 above problems any longer.
