Jennie and I walked 16 miles this week. My scales still talk ugly to me and none of my clothes feel loose, but we're still walking. I thought exercise was supposed to energize you; but after walking seven miles this morning, Jennie and I were just ready for a nap. What's up with that?
At least the walking seems to relieve the stress of the new job. That's a positive thing....

What's up with that is you walked 7 miles in one morning. I'm pretty sure God did not intend for us to walk that much in one day. Think about it-he inspired someone to invent the TV, stereo, mp3 player, Ipod, Wii, vacuum cleaners, dishwashers, and the list goes on and on. He was trying to make our lives easier, not harder, and walking 7 miles in one day is just downright hard!!!
THAT'S WHAT'S UP!!!
(nevertheless, I'm proud of you! You put the rest of us to shame. Thank you. and your little girl too!)
so HoneyGail, I am wondering how it's going with you. It has been a couple of weeks since your last post. How is the walking going? Still walking? Pounds off?
Please, we need to hear some good progress from someone we all know, love and admire. Let it be you!
Hate to fail the family, but....
Jennie and I are still walking our butts off, yet we're apparently not walking our butts off. The scales still talk ugly to me and the clothes are not any looser. The only thing that keeps me going is the thought that my cholesterol will be lower by March if I keep walking.
We walked 10 miles yesterday morning. I was trying to increase my speed. I am a very slow walker (about 3-3.5 miles per hour). This morning I was searching for Motrin because the calves of my legs were whining. Nine miles last week did not hurt this bad.... I may just stick with my turtle speed.
Right now I'm going to eat some peach cobbler..... A food journal might be required for any weight loss. You think??
First of all, you are NOT failing the family. The rest of us are jealous that WE did not walk 10 miles in one day, EVER!!!
Plus, you are walking for a cause.
How cool is that?!
I walked 2 miles tonight with Erin, then we went for yogurt. Bad girls.
You must keep up the good work!
Who else out there is keeping up the good work? C'mon people, let's get serious about this.
(wish I had some peach cobbler. was it homemade? mmmmmmm.)
Well, my calves are jealous of your calves because ya'll didn't make your calves walk 10 miles last Saturday!
Yes, the cobbler was homemade, and tonight I'm sitting here eating Blue Bell Banana Split Ice Cream as I type.... I don't know why I can't lose any weight...
Jennie and I did walk three miles today. Do you think that will off-set any of this ice-cream?
Where is everybody??? Going through the Halloween candy???
We're going to have to get serious about this! after the ice cream...
