And....another week!
Okay, for real. I have been attempting to walk. I have even gotten on my treadclimber for the past 3 days. PLUS,! I have had salads for lunch 2 days in a row. How 'bout that?!
I am going to confess- At night when I sit down to watch a movie or whatever, I start out with a 100 calorie pack of whatever. Later, I say to myself "well, it was only 100 calories." So, I go get another 100 calorie pack of whatever. (there's lots of good choices) Anyway, pretty soon the 100 calorie packs have defeated their purpose. I might as well just eat a big ol' bowl of Blue Bell chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. Geez!
What's anybody else doing?
I wish I had some thyroid medicine.

For the first time in weeks, I'm actually trying again. I'm going the SlimFast route. If you go to Slimfast.com, you can print out a mealplan for the week. Tons and tons of produce and chicken. I feel like I'm eating all of the time. However, I did lose 1 pound. Of course, that doesn't mean much since I've gained about 6pounds since we started this party.

I'm thinking about telling Cliff's psychiatrist that I think I'm ADD so I can take Adderol (sp?) for the rest of my life.

I've been hitting the pool at the Y this week. Sometimes I attend an aquaworks class, sometimes I swim laps. Then I finish it off by sliding down the big corkscrew-shaped slide. The slide has these great big steps . . . about two feet high each. I climb the damn think on my knees. I know I must look ridiculous. But sliding three or four times is actually the toughest part of my aquatic workout.

That would hurt my butt. (even thought I have PLENTY of padding)

I can't believe you slid down the slide at the Y. That's motivating for me. So what if we're adults? Slides are for everyone and fun doesn't have an age restriction!
By god, the next slide I encounter will be thoroughly enjoyed by me!

And adderall worked well for me. I took it in high school, without a prescription, and I've read up on it since. All I really rememeber is being very thirsty! And John, who had a prescription, said he hardly had an appetite, even after not eating all day.

I think as long as you don't snort it, which results in blood pressure changes that "could result in some really ugly heart rhythm problems," then you should try it.
