I'm not losing . . . I'm gaining. Of course, Cliff was home for a week . . . that always means lots of celebratory meals out. And we celebrated my anniversary/birthday/mother's day (another pound gained). So I'm failing miserably at this dieting business, however, my chore list is a success. Megan mowed the backyard without me saying a word.
Hope the rest of you are losing better than I am.

Okay, so I have lost 4 pounds so far.
Erin & I have gone back to our evening walks, even though it is hot and sticky. I do wonder who came up with the name "Slimfast" because it isn't even close to being fast!
Maybe "Slimturtle"?
You're so funny, Donna. Nobody would buy a can of SlimTurtle, but I'll bet you're right ... that name would be more accurate.
The thing is ... (I heard that! ... you saying,"come on, Jo. Tell us what the thing is.") (smart mouth!) Anyway ... the thing is ... well, shoot! now I've forgotton what the thing is.
Carmen, I'm sure I've asked this before, but I've got to ask again (because I can't remember the answer) ... Have the doctors checked you for an underactive thyroid?
I wish I could use my thyroid as an excuse, but I just had my physical. My thyroid number was 8.0. The normal range is 4.5-12.5. I'm right smack-dab in the healthy middle.
Donna, I'm so impressed with you. I've got to work hard on my braille from now through next Tuesday. Maybe I'll get serious about watching what I'm eating and dieting next week. (That's sad . . . I've bypassed "tomorrow" and gone straight to "next week")
Actually, I weighed myself this morning and I have lost 6 1/2 lbs.
Donna! Good for you!
Donna, does that mean you've just about reached your goal weight?
Hardly!!! I still have a million lbs. to go! UGH! But, I did buy some of those delicious Hershey's 60 calorie dark chocolate sticks. They are yummy to the tummy. And, it satisfies the chocolate need in me.
